We are thrilled to announce the upcoming University Umoja Day at the University of California, Davis (UCD), scheduled for Friday, March 1, 2024, from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm. This event, a collaboration between the Umoja Community Education Foundation and the UC system, aims to provide valuable insights and resources tailored specifically for Black students.
University Umoja Days are designed to create intentional spaces for our Umoja scholars to explore transfer pathways and access resources essential to their academic success. This event at UC Davis is open to all Umoja programs and high school Black Student Union programs within our community.
During this special day, participants will have the opportunity to experience the beauty of the UC Davis campus while engaging in informative workshops geared towards supporting their academic journey. From transfer pathways to valuable resources, these workshops are crafted to empower students as they navigate their next steps.
